Yours,

Paintings by Steffen Maria Ost are…

… secured!

You can recognize a “genuine” Ost not only by his always clear and confident brushwork and by the self-assured colors. The artist also always places all his paintings—quite literally—on the same foundation:

No “Ost” is complete without the clear artist’s signature at the bottom edge of the painting, the date, his sweeping signature, and the Ost logo:

The foundation is the Greek letter “Sigma” for Steffen & Maria, the Omega for Ost.

Above it, an eye representing impression and expression; next to it, a tear—for laughing and crying; and finally, three strokes which, in the Inkatum, symbolize the rising sun (in the East).

… full of color!

There is one thing paintings by Steffen Maria Ost never are: sparing. Not in expression, not in content—and certainly not when it comes to material.

“Color fulfills me,” says the artist. Even in the perception of sensory impressions, from which a painting later emerges, color comes first for him: “I filter out the colors for myself, because the meaning, for me, is conveyed through color.”

His memory sketches are therefore always marked with color dots, which later enable him to reconstruct the harmonic interplay of colors.

“The basic idea and the collection of colors are then reflected in the painting.”

It is therefore only consistent that Steffen Maria Ost often uses a great deal of paint for each of his works—enough to apply so many layers that he can later scrape out deeper ones, thus bringing them back to the surface and giving the painting a vitality and depth effect. Enough also to give the strong brushstrokes an almost sculptural form—some paintings therefore appear almost like a relief.

“The blended colors convey more than the sum of their pigments.”

— Gabriele Karen Müller, M.A., 2004 – Stuttgarter Zeitung

My heartfelt thanks go to the introductory words from 2004, which Gabriele Karen Müller wrote about me at the time and which have lost none of their expressiveness and depth to this day.

On the contrary—over time their impact has grown: in significance, in warmth, and in authenticity. These words have accompanied my work for many years, and they touch me today in 2025 perhaps even more than they did back then.

For this lasting appreciation and trust, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My Invitation to You

Welcome to my homepage! I would like to take you with me into my world of art – not to sell you anything, but to share my thoughts, inspirations, and stories with you. For a page without my own words would be silent to me – and art lives from expression, emotion, and exchange.

For me, the artwork itself comes first: honest, individual, and full of personality. Here you can immerse yourself, explore, and experience the diversity of my works.

At the moment, my new art catalogue “Steffen Maria Ost – Impressions of Another Kind & Elegance. Intuition. Style.” is also being created, and it will soon be available in printed form. These three words have always shaped my artistic work and reflect the character of this publication.

If you would like to accompany my journey and not miss any news, feel free to sign up for my information sheet as a newsletter. Immerse yourself, let yourself be inspired – I look forward to taking you along on this journey!

Warm regards,
Yours,

“In my life, I have engaged intensively with a wide variety of painting and printing techniques. Each technique has its own magic, yet linocut has become especially dear to me. The clarity and precision of this method, combined with the ability to create unique artworks through carving and printing, continually fascinate me.

From time to time, I find the moment in which I fully immerse myself in this technique and produce prints that captivate not only through their form but also through their structure and depth.

Linocut allows me to experience a very special connection between craftsmanship and art—a process that is both precise and spontaneous, yielding a fresh, new result with each edition.

Here you see the print “Castiglion Fiorentino”—a work that perfectly reflects the character of this technique.

Through the sharpness of the lines and the distinctive texture of the prints, not only the form but also the emotional depth of the scene comes alive.”

The name of the print, “Castiglion Fiorentino,” gives the work a personal touch, drawing the viewer into the story or the moment of its creation.

2025

In the summer of 2025, I began redesigning my website for you. Gradually, a fresh, lively insight into my artistic work is taking shape, which I am excited to share with you.

Feel free to visit regularly—there is always something new to discover.

A warm welcome, and enjoy exploring!

Since the beginning of my artistic journey in 1990, I have consciously chosen to shape my future with paintings and sculptures.

From the very start, I knew this would not be an easy path—with many highs and lows. Yet it was my consistent, non-representational approach, creating works far removed from the visible world, that allowed me to produce art born from inner conviction.

I am not interested in depicting reality, such as green for leaves or brown for a tree trunk—in my work, a tree might just as well have blue leaves and a red trunk. What truly interests me is making visible the impressions and sensations that cannot be confined to concrete forms or familiar motifs.

My works arise from a deep need to live in a world of my own, composed of colors, lines, planes, and forms. This space beyond reality is, for me, a place of freedom—a place where emotion, intuition, and inner movement take center stage. I aim to convey these qualities through my works to this day.

For me, color is not merely a design element, but a carrier of expression and meaning—just like form and material.

I understand my art as an invitation to viewers to allow their own perceptions and feelings, without being guided or restricted by representational elements. In abstraction, I find the freedom that allows me to make something essential visible: that which lies between things—the unspoken, the felt, the experienced—in a unique, personal language of art.

The Three Black Columns as an Artwork – Meaning and Interpretation

The three black columns as an artistic motif represent, for me, a fascinating combination of minimalism, structure, and presence. They embody a formal reduction that simultaneously conveys monumental strength and profound symbolism. In their apparent simplicity, they invite an intensive engagement with space, material, and meaning—a timeless theme that remains particularly relevant in modern and contemporary art.

What do the three black columns mean to me?

  • Formal Reduction: The focus is on the essential, without distraction from unnecessary details.
  • Symbolism of Three: The number three represents balance, harmony, and tripartition, for example, beginning–middle–end or body–mind–soul.
  • Monumentality: Despite their simplicity, the columns radiate strength, stability, and an impressive presence.
  • Interaction with Space: The columns structure the space, define boundaries, and invite viewers to observe them from different perspectives.

In the next and final step of the series, “Part III,” I will add gold as another means of expression, thereby expanding the concept.

The sculptures quickly found their owners and are now on display at the SBAIGLIO estate in Castiglion Fiorentino, Tuscany. Further sculptures are already planned for the future to expand the artistic spectrum.

My career now spans more than 35 years—a period in which I have consistently followed my own path in art.

It was—and is—a journey full of development, encounters, inner movement, and creative growth.

What began in 1990 as a quiet impulse has become my life path, leading me through many phases, cities, and themes. Throughout all this time, art has become far more than a profession or vocation for me: it is my expression, my language—my attitude toward the world. In short: for me, art means realizing oneself through the subject and through human values.

I have always wanted to create my “IMPRESSIONS OF ANOTHER KIND.”

In my artistic work, it is not my aim to simply depict reality—photography serves that purpose today.

My art pursues a different goal: it seeks to make visible what is often overlooked. Moods, tensions, transitions, the unspoken between the lines. My works have always arisen from the need to show familiar things from a new and different perspective—and to translate inner experiences into color, form, and structure.

What matters to me is what remains:

  • Impressions that touch, resonate, and invite reflection.
  • Impressions that may be different—and precisely for that reason, are special.

"Art begins where words end."
– Joseph Beuys

Today I sit here in front of my computer, collecting thoughts like sketches of my life and my artistic work, to share them with you.

To be honest, I don’t particularly like simply calling myself an “artist.” For me, it is more than a title—I see myself as a creator of art, someone who works, shapes, and expresses their visions every day with passion and dedication.

My works express moments, stages of life, and their situations. They are captured in a static form on canvas or in sculpture, yet through the title—which arises from my thoughts—they gain a special meaning.

I am convinced that every work needs a name, one that not only captivates the viewer but also opens up their own thoughts and feelings about the work. After all, art and ideas are free—they live through the freedom to unfold and be experienced individually.

If you ask me about my favorite painting, I can hardly answer—because each individual work carries a piece of my heart within it.

May I introduce a few of them to you?

Each painting you see in this exhibition is more than just color on canvas and has its own name. It is a moment, a feeling, a story. Some works came into being in a single moment—powerful, intuitive, full of energy. Others developed quietly, almost hesitantly, layer by layer. Some speak of light and freedom, others of depth and transformation. How could I possibly highlight just one?

Choosing a favorite would be like favoring one child over another. Some paintings still move me after years as if it were the first day—they reveal their true power only over time. Often, it is the interaction with the space, the light, and the person standing before it that gives a work its true meaning.

So my answer is quite simple: my favorite work is always the one that, at the right moment, reaches the person viewing it—and begins a silent conversation between art, artist, and soul.

“Go to Berlin” was created immediately after my visit to Berlin.

The city, always pulsating and full of energy, deeply inspired me.

Especially the Gerhard Richter exhibition at the Neue Nationalgalerie offered a new perspective—his abstract, color-intensive works prompted me to see Berlin in a similar way and to translate it with my own colors and forms.

“Go to Berlin” – a work by me from 2023

The painting plays across its two panels with strong blues and reds, reflecting both the calm, expansive side of Berlin and the city’s ceaseless movement. Sprightly pink, yellow, and green tones capture the colorful, chaotic life of the metropolis—the colors of graffiti and the glowing city lights.

With two canvases, I wanted to show Berlin’s dynamism: the interplay of structure and chaos. The white lines symbolize the city’s architecture, while the colored drops and splashes represent the pulsating energy of the people who continually redefine Berlin.

For me, “Go to Berlin” is more than just a painting—it is a feeling, an expression of the city’s movement and change. It invites the viewer to not only see Berlin, but to experience it.

Summer Walk on the Beach, 2008

A moment of lightness and calm—warm light, soft sand, the sound of the waves.

This work captures the atmosphere of a relaxed summer day and invites quiet reflection.

It represents freedom, a connection to nature, and the quiet joy of the moment. A title that evokes memories and makes longing tangible.

Why everything is not listed chronologically…

You may wonder why not everything on my website is listed chronologically. This is intentional, in order to create a certain tension and give you the opportunity to engage with the works and texts in a moving and multi-layered way—you are also very welcome to send me your comments via email at eMail@studiokreativ.services or via WhatsApp.

My texts are sometimes shorter, sometimes longer, depending on what the work and the moment require.

Sometimes it is only the title that already tells a much deeper story—this often already carries the essence of the work within it.

Everything, however, is named, because I believe that this approach encourages a deeper engagement with each work of art. It is not only about the “when” or the “why,” but about the “how,” the connection between the works, and the way they stimulate and develop each other.

I hope you enjoy this way of discovering and allow yourself to be carried along by the art and its stories.

I really like this work.

“Kaleidoscope – Gaze into the Distance” (2019)

“Kaleidoscope – Gaze into the Distance” is a work of mine from 2019 that explores the dynamic nature of perception and constant change. Created through digital preparation, the painting uses this technique to develop an ever-evolving visual language that transports the viewer into a world of infinite perspectives and impressions.

The strong colors and abstract forms in the work reflect the ceaseless flow of perception. Like a kaleidoscope, new patterns constantly emerge, symbolizing the search for expansiveness and new viewpoints. The “gaze into the distance” refers to the urge to grasp the unknown—yet the painting remains fragmented, just as reality can never be fully apprehended.

Kaleidoscope challenges the viewer to repeatedly observe the world from new perspectives and to allow themselves to be surprised by the endless possibilities of perception.

Aswan Dam
120 × 100 cm | Acrylic on canvas

This impressive painting was created in 2004—inspired by a visit to the Aswan Dam in Egypt.

The composition is infused with the warm tones of the desert: colors that range over the course of a day from bright sandy gold to the mysterious nuances of twilight, continually capturing the viewer’s eye.

Delicate gold and silver elements run through the work, symbolizing the splendor, wealth, and former power of the great Pharaonic empire. They give the painting a quiet grandeur while also conveying the historical depth of the place.

The painting is still highly valued today and is in a private collection in Leonberg.

Socrates – A Sculpture in Red Maulbronn Sandstone (1995–1997)

The sculpture “Socrates” was created between 1995 and 1997 from red Maulbronn sandstone. It weighs 80 kg and measures approximately 50 × 50 × 100 cm in height.

The most well-known sculptor from Leonberg who used Maulbronn sandstone is Hans Daniel Sailer. Maulbronn is roughly located between Mühlacker and Pforzheim.

For me, this work marks a very important moment in my artistic development. I still remember well how I carried the heavy stone—each step was a challenge, yet also a valuable opportunity to get closer to the essence of this philosophical figure.

Although it is an early work, I consider this sculpture particularly successful and expressive. It reflects not only my engagement with philosophy in this sense, but also the portrayal of character and depth that Socrates embodies as a symbol of inner calm and wisdom.

For me, it was a decisive step forward in my own artistic development.

Early on, the sculpture found its place in Göttingen, Lower Saxony, where it has stood in the garden of its owner and his wife since 1998. Over time, it has developed, with its acquired patina, into a special, true favorite piece that they no longer want to be without.

The owner carefully chose the perfect spot for “Socrates” on his terrace, and it gives me immense joy to know that this sculpture has brought them happiness and pleasure all these years. It is a very special confirmation for me that the work still radiates such strong, positive energy and, after 27 years in 2025, continues to build a deep connection with people.

A heartfelt thank you to the owner for the beautiful new photos, which show me how the sculpture continues to serve as a source of inspiration and joy. It fills me with great happiness to know that my work has had such a positive influence over the years and continues to live on vibrantly in people’s lives.

Thank you!

This painting was created in 2022 in my summer studio in Tuscany and has since been exhibited in my Galerie Ost.

“Glowing Sun” – A Piece of Summer for the Whole Year…

With my painting “Glowing Sun,” created in 2022, I aim to capture the warm rays of that summer—and share them. For all those days when light, warmth, and color do us good.

In radiant yellow, glowing red, vibrant orange, and a touch of powerful black, the full energy of the sun unfolds—across a generous surface of 160 × 200 cm, painted in acrylic on canvas.

This work is more than just color on fabric.

It is a feeling.

A ray of light.
A sunbeam that shines all year long.

“Fields of Gold – Felder aus Gold – Campi d’Oro”

In my summer studio in Tuscany, surrounded by gentle hills, golden fields in the valley, and the silvery green of ancient olive trees, this work was created.

It is now receiving its final touches today and in the coming days. I have named it “Fields of Gold – Felder aus Gold – Campi d’Oro”—in three languages, because no single word could fully capture the mood that accompanied me while painting. Every morning, warm, fragrant air streamed through the open windows and doors of my summer studio.

The golden light settled on the fields in the valley, wandered among the gnarled branches of the old olive trees surrounding the studio. These trees were my constant, silent companions. They spoke to me—without words—of time, patience, and perseverance. Especially the largest among them gave me peace and guidance. I often paint while looking at it. It seemed to know everything—and remained silent.

I believe we should honor this silence—not only in places like this, but wherever we encounter nature.

The gold in the fields symbolically represents the value of our natural resources. For me, it is more than a decorative color—it is a symbol of what the earth gives us. Every brushstroke carries my respect for what grows, thrives, and sustains us.

This work is my quiet gratitude to nature—and an expression of humility before its generosity.

The title has been my personal reference point, my inner compass while painting. But what you see in it is entirely up to you. I invite you to discover in my painting what personally touches you.

The Red Thread

This work was created in my summer studio—where light, silence, and time meet. A place where thoughts find space and feelings transform into colors.

A triptych, three-part like an altar.

A bright red bar stretches from left to right across the canvases—like a powerful line that connects. A trace that runs through. An impulse that moves inward and radiates outward.

I know: some will hesitate at first.

But those who engage begin to discover.

Some see history and change. Others feel strength, movement, energy.

Some sense courage—or the power of a new beginning that is possible in our time.

I simply call it: “The Red Thread.”

I don’t explain much. The title alone serves as a guide—open to personal interpretation.

Those who pause and take their time will feel what I mean.

Regardless of language, origin, or life path, a quiet understanding arises.

Because what I want to express is:

Peace lives within all of us—as potential, as longing, as reality.

Many may see only the red mark at the center—for me, it is the beginning of a thread.

A beginning that leads onward.

Powerful, yes—but not intrusive.

Because this bar is more. Much more.

It is a thread.

Red—as a sign. A call for mindfulness.

A symbol of vigilance, responsibility, and hope.

And this thread runs through everything:

Through time.
Through our world.
Through all our lives.

An invisible bond that connects us with nature, with life, and with peace.

I do not want to preach. I do not want to moralize.

My language is quiet.

My paintings speak without words.

And if they sometimes seem sad, it is only to awaken our compassion—

and to remind us of the positive that lives within each of us.

Because that is exactly what they want to make visible:

Hope.
The possibility of doing good.
The responsibility that strengthens us—not paralyzes us.

What I express with this work is more than a painting.

It is not merely an idea.

It is a call.

Gentle—but unmistakable, if one truly listens.

A call for awareness.

For what surrounds us:

The Earth.
The Air.
The Water.
Life itself.

An awareness that does not only shine in times of crisis,

but remains permanently present—awake, mindful, clear.

“The Red Thread” is my symbol of remembrance.

Quiet. Sincere. And hopeful.

A symbol of what we may rediscover:

The Earth that gives strength.
The Air that allows us to breathe.
The Water that sustains life.
The animals that are connected to us.

This painting is not a warning—it is a light.

A reminder of what was—

and an invitation to preserve what is yet to come.

Some will walk on.

Others will pause.

And some will take something with them—something that cannot be put into words.

Perhaps a thought.
Perhaps a question.
Perhaps a red thread—

deep within themselves.

And with it, the willingness to act in small ways,

so that change can happen on a larger scale.

My Painting “City, Countryside, River” – A Homage to Castiglion Fiorentino

Città, Campagna, Fiume

I dedicate this work to a place that has touched my heart:

Castiglion Fiorentino—a gem in Tuscany that unites history, nature, and the joy of Italian life.

"Visit Italy – a journey full of enjoyment, history, and passion"

Italy—a land of contrasts and timeless beauty.

From the snow-capped peaks of the Alps in the north to the sun-soaked coasts of the south, it offers a fascinating diversity of landscapes, cultures, and experiences.

Each region tells its own story—and at its heart lies a special treasure: Castiglion Fiorentino, a charming medieval town in Tuscany, just a few kilometers from Arezzo and Cortona.

In Castiglion Fiorentino, time seems to stand still.

Narrow streets, centuries-old city walls, breathtaking views over the Val di Chio, and a warm, authentic atmosphere invite you to linger. Here, you can feel the real Italy—far from mass tourism.

The old town, with its historic city tower, small cafés, and quiet squares, tells stories from Etruscan times to the Renaissance.

But Italy has so much more to offer: world-famous cities like Rome, Florence, or Venice captivate with their unique architecture and treasures of art.

The gentle hills of Tuscany—with their olive groves, vineyards, and idyllic villages—invite you to dream. And the culinary diversity is simply overwhelming.

In Castiglion Fiorentino, for example, you can enjoy:

• Homemade pasta
• Tuscan country wine
• Fine olive oil straight from the farm

My wife and I also produce our own Sbaiglio Mancini olive oil here—with great passion, out of love for the region and its fruits.

A visit to Italy means:

• Experiencing art and culture—from Michelangelo’s masterpieces in Florence to small village museums in Castiglion Fiorentino

• Feeling la dolce vita—sitting with a glass of wine on a piazza and watching the sun set over the hills

• Meeting people who proudly live their traditions and hospitality

Whether you love bustling cities or the quiet, authentic Italy—

a stop in Castiglion Fiorentino will make your journey unforgettable.

Dear Switzerland, happy birthday on August 1, 2025 ❤️

Since I live in Basel, Switzerland myself, August 1st is more than just a day off for me—it is an occasion to congratulate a country that stands for stability, diversity, and freedom. On this day, Switzerland celebrates its National Day—a symbol of its independence, unity, and democratic tradition.

A Proud Nation Celebrates – Switzerland and Its Eventful History

The origins of this special date go far back: in the late 13th century, several valleys joined together to form the so-called Old Confederacy—an alliance primarily aimed at protecting their own freedom. Over the centuries, this loose association developed into a distinct path between the dominant European powers.

A significant milestone was the Peace of Westphalia in 1648, which officially recognized the Swiss cantons as sovereign in relation to the Holy Roman Empire. This was the first time Switzerland’s independence was confirmed under international law. After turbulent years during the Helvetic Republic (1798–1803) and the subsequent reorganization from 1803 onwards, Switzerland’s policy of perpetual neutrality was internationally recognized at the Congress of Vienna in 1815. This principle continues to shape the country’s identity—both politically and socially.

Modern Switzerland, as we know it today, emerged with the adoption of the Federal Constitution in 1848. It laid the foundation for the federal structure of the country, now composed of 26 independent cantons.

Since then, Switzerland has lived in a stable balance of self-determination and collective responsibility—a model that also draws international attention.

But Switzerland is more than politics and history. It is a country with breathtaking nature, four national languages, a strong sense of community, and a deeply rooted democratic culture.

The National Day on August 1st is a moment of reflection—and pride.

Reading the Newspaper in the Park

In the Shadow of Words – My Essay “Reading the Newspaper in the Park”

Some artworks are loud—screaming, stirring, dramatic. Others glide through the world with a quiet breath, like the gentle rustle of a newspaper page in a soft breeze. Reading the Newspaper in the Park belongs to the latter.

This work does not demand awe; it invites pause. It does not demand attention—it whispers. And in this quiet whisper lies its power. The scene: a person, a bench, a sheet of paper—the newspaper—set in a park framed by nature, time, and stillness.

What may seem trivial at first glance reveals itself, on closer inspection, as a subtle, poetic manifesto about the relationship between inner and outer worlds, between information and contemplation, between global events and personal experience.

A Moment of Gathering

In the hectic pace of modern life, the simple act of sitting on a bench and reading a newspaper is almost revolutionary. Reading the Newspaper in the Park is an act of deliberate deceleration—a small rebellion against digital overload, push notifications, and endless scrolling.

Here, one does not “consume” news. One reads. Line by line. It is a ritual—almost sacred—where the printed word gains weight. The newspaper, often thought obsolete, becomes liturgy, and the park becomes a cathedral of slowness.

The Park as a Resonance Space

The park in my work is more than a setting—it is a co-player, a resonating body, a breathing canvas. Birds chirp, children’s laughter echoes from afar, a dog runs by, leaves dance in the wind. All of this mingles with the contents of the newspaper: world politics, cultural critiques, weather reports. The reader is not merely in the park—they are part of it. And the newspaper becomes a bridge between the microcosm and the macrocosm.

While reading about global crises, a blackbird sings above—almost defiantly, almost comfortingly. This contrast—between what happens outside and what is felt inside—is the heart of this work.

A Statement of Calm

Reading the Newspaper in the Park is also a quiet political statement. It resists agitation, outrage culture, and constant attention. It advocates selective understanding of the world, the autonomy of the reader, and the beauty of the moment.

The world is complex—but it doesn’t always have to be loud. One can approach it quietly, reading, in the midst of nature, perhaps with a coffee, a newspaper, and an open mind.

My work is a homage to conscious living, to slow reception, to the beauty of the mundane. It shows how much depth can reside in a simple scene—if one allows oneself to truly see. Reading the Newspaper in the Park is not a loud outcry—it is a quiet agreement with life. And that is what makes it so enjoyable, so powerful, so timeless.

3rd ART FORUM BROMBACH – SAVE THE DATE

Dear art lovers from Brombach, the tri-border region, and beyond,

I would like to draw your attention with a >>> SAVE THE DATE <<< to the 3rd ART FORUM in Brombach, which will take place this year on July 6th – a date you definitely should mark in your calendar.

During the OPEN HOUSE DAY, I personally learned from the artist Sabine Stolz that the park around the Brombacher Castle will once again, as it did last year, become the setting for a unique outdoor exhibition. Artworks will be displayed along the paths, drawing attention to the event. The studios on the Schöpflin site will also open their doors again.

I would be delighted if you could note this special day in your calendar!

With best regards and wishing you a successful event,
Yours,
Steffen Maria Ost

Ich freue mich auf Sie!

Welcome to the World of My Art!

It is a great pleasure for me to welcome you to my homepage today and to give you an exclusive insight into my creative work.

In the following slideshow, which you will be able to view shortly, I would like to invite you to be enchanted by my creations.

Each piece is not just a painting, but a window into a world full of emotions, colors, and profound thoughts. My hope is that my art brings you as much joy as it has given me during the creation of these works.

Immerse yourself, let yourself be inspired, and enjoy the journey through my art! I wish you great pleasure in discovering it.

With warm regards,
Yours,
Steffen Maria Ost

Exhibition & Visitor Spaces:
Building/Bâtiment/Edificio 37
Floor/Piano/Étage 1 & 2
Room/Chambre/Sala 1

Schopfheimer Straße 25
Brombach, in the Dreiländereck (border triangle)

This year, the collection will be expanded with my additional unique ceramic plates, each created as a one-of-a-kind piece and integrated into the existing series.

This expansion is not only an enrichment of the already existing objects but also a valuable addition to my entire ceramic artistic oeuvre—a journey that collectors can actively participate in. Each new plate is understood as an independent work of art, reflecting both the craftsmanship and the creative vision of my work.

The ceramic plates are distinguished by their individual design elements, varying in color, form, and technique, and reflecting diverse art-historical influences as well as regional inspirations. This expansion demonstrates my ongoing commitment to documenting variety within my ceramic art while simultaneously fostering its further development.

The new ceramic plates integrate seamlessly with my paintings and expand the dimensions of my artistic practice. They are more than mere individual objects—they arise in dialogue with my paintings and contribute to the overall composition of my work. Their visual language and design provide a fascinating counterpoint to the paintings, opening new perspectives on my art.

Should you have any specific wishes regarding the works, please do not hesitate to contact me—I look forward to incorporating your suggestions and thoughts into my art.

“Key to Happiness” – a work that acts like a portal into a world of hope, joy, and inner fulfillment.

The title itself already hints at the secret hidden behind the canvas.

Key to Happiness
200 x 150 cm
Acrylic on canvas

The key opens not only doors but also the heart, inviting happiness and contentment into our lives.

This painting has been in private ownership in Rutesheim near Stuttgart since 2016 and has become a cherished part of the space, maintaining its significance and impact over the years.

It is a depiction of freedom and possibility, reminding us that we ourselves are the key to our own happiness.

With this in mind, I wish you a wonderful day with warm regards!
